For a year now, I've been participating in Deborah Nolan's
Card Chain Challenge. This is a monthly challenge, where Deb gives us a theme, a sketch and color palette to work with in order to make one card. After signing up to participate, she sends an email with the address of the person you will send a card to. The best part is, in response, you get a card in the mail from someone else on the list! I love participating in this because I've received cards from ladies all over the world...and who doesn't appreciate getting a handmade card in the mail?
On the first of each month, Deb always has a reveal on her
blog. Today, the reveal took place on a new challenge website called
Lily Pad Cards. The challenge has really grown this year....my card (sent to Jan in sunny California) can been seen near the bottom of her reveal or is also pictured below. I am still waiting for my card for March to arrive...but it's coming all the way from Ireland!
The owl stamp and punch are by Stampin' Up and the sentiment is from Hero Arts (CL129). Patterned paper is from the Paper Studio.
